About XIOLINE

XIOLINE is an online fashion-accessory store offering digital-print bandanas and related products in Sri Lanka.

Customers may also browse or purchase XIOLINE products through our WhatsApp catalogue and official Daraz store. Purchases made through third-party platforms are also subject to the terms and policies of those platforms.

Website Use

You may use this website only for lawful personal-shopping purposes.

You must not:

  • Use the website for fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Attempt to access restricted website areas
  • Introduce viruses, malware or harmful code
  • Copy or misuse website content without permission
  • Interfere with the website’s operation or security
  • Submit false customer, payment or delivery information
  • Use automated tools to collect website data without approval

We may restrict or terminate access when these conditions are violated.

Customer Eligibility

You must be legally capable of entering into a purchase agreement to place an order.

Customers who are below the legally required age should place orders only with the permission and involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

By placing an order, you confirm that the information supplied is accurate and that you are authorised to use the selected payment method.

Customer Accounts

Certain website features may require you to create an account.

You are responsible for:

Prices

All prices displayed on the website are shown in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) unless stated otherwise.

Prices may change without prior notice. A price change will not normally affect an order that has already been accepted and confirmed.

Delivery charges, transaction fees or other applicable costs will be displayed during checkout where possible.

When a pricing error occurs, we may contact you to:

  • Confirm the corrected price
  • Allow you to cancel the order
  • Cancel the affected order and issue a refund

Orders

Submitting an order does not automatically mean it has been accepted.

An order is normally accepted after:

  • Required customer information is received
  • Payment is confirmed where applicable
  • Product availability is verified
  • XIOLINE sends an order confirmation or begins fulfilment

We reserve the right to reject or cancel an order for reasonable grounds, including:

  • Product unavailability
  • Incorrect pricing
  • Payment failure
  • Suspected fraud
  • Incomplete contact or delivery details
  • Delivery restrictions
  • Website or inventory errors

When payment has already been received for a cancelled order, the eligible amount will be refunded.

Payment

Available payment methods will be shown during checkout or communicated through WhatsApp.

You agree to provide correct payment information and confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method.

Payments may be processed by banks, payment gateways or third-party providers. Their own terms, privacy policies and processing times may also apply.

XIOLINE does not normally store complete payment-card details directly on the website.

Cash on Delivery

Where cash on delivery is available:

  • You must provide a correct address and active contact number
  • The full payable amount should be available when the parcel arrives
  • You must answer reasonable calls from the delivery provider
  • Repeatedly refused or unclaimed orders may result in restrictions on future cash-on-delivery orders

Additional delivery charges may apply when an order must be resent because of incorrect information or customer unavailability.

Delivery

We aim to deliver orders within the estimated period provided during checkout or order confirmation.

Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by:

  • Courier delays
  • Weather conditions
  • Public holidays
  • Remote delivery locations
  • Incorrect customer information
  • Events outside our reasonable control

Please provide a complete delivery address and reachable telephone number.

Risk relating to the product passes to the customer once the order is successfully delivered to the stated address or authorised recipient.

Checking Your Order

Please inspect your parcel shortly after delivery.

Contact us promptly when:

  • The parcel is damaged
  • A product is missing
  • The wrong design was delivered
  • The product has an apparent defect

Do not use, wash, alter or dispose of the product before receiving instructions when reporting a problem.

Returns, Exchanges and Refunds

Returns, replacements, exchanges and refunds are governed by the XIOLINE Refund and Return Policy.

Submitting a request does not automatically guarantee approval. Products may need to be inspected before a replacement, store credit or refund is issued.

Nothing in these terms is intended to remove any mandatory consumer rights available under Sri Lankan law. The Consumer Affairs Authority may receive complaints relating to goods or services that do not meet applicable standards or specifications.

Order Cancellations

You should contact us immediately when requesting an order cancellation.

An order may be cancelled before packing or dispatch. Once dispatched, it may need to follow our return procedure.

We may cancel orders affected by stock errors, pricing errors, suspected fraud, payment issues or circumstances that prevent fulfilment.

Promotions and Discount Codes

Promotional offers may be subject to additional conditions.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Discount codes cannot be exchanged for cash
  • Only one code may be used per order
  • Codes must be used before expiry
  • Offers may apply only to selected products
  • Discounts may not apply to delivery fees
  • Promotions may be changed or withdrawn before an order is placed
  • Codes obtained through misuse may be cancelled

Daraz Orders

Orders placed through Daraz are governed by Daraz’s applicable terms, payment, delivery, return and refund procedures.

Questions about a Daraz transaction may need to be submitted through the customer’s Daraz account or support process.

These website terms do not replace the platform’s own conditions.

WhatsApp Orders

Orders placed through WhatsApp are confirmed only after the product, price, quantity, delivery information and payment method have been agreed upon.

Customers should verify all order details before confirming payment.

XIOLINE will not request confidential passwords, one-time passwords or complete banking login information through WhatsApp.

Intellectual Property

The XIOLINE name, logo, website design, written content, graphics, photographs and promotional materials belong to XIOLINE or are used with permission.

You may not reproduce, publish, sell, modify or commercially use this content without written permission.

You may share public product links or social-media posts for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Customer Reviews and Submitted Content

When you submit a review, photo, testimonial or other content, you confirm that:

  • It is accurate and based on your genuine experience
  • You own it or have permission to share it
  • It does not violate another person’s rights
  • It is not unlawful, abusive, misleading or harmful

Where permission is provided, XIOLINE may display submitted reviews or content for store and promotional purposes.

We may remove content that violates these terms.

Privacy and Personal Information

Personal information collected through the website is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

Sri Lanka’s Data Protection Authority states that the country’s Personal Data Protection Act became fully operational and enforceable from 18 March 2025, with certain provisions on solicited messages following a separate commencement timeline.

By using the website, you acknowledge that essential information may be processed to manage orders, payments, customer support and delivery.

Electronic Communications

By placing an order or contacting us electronically, you agree that order confirmations, invoices, notices and service communications may be provided through email, WhatsApp, SMS or the website.

Sri Lanka’s Electronic Transactions framework recognises electronic transactions and communications, including through the Electronic Transactions Act and its 2017 amendment.

Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to Daraz, WhatsApp, payment providers, delivery services or social-media platforms.

XIOLINE does not control third-party websites and is not responsible for their content, security, availability or data practices.

You should review their terms and privacy policies before using those services.

Website Availability

We aim to keep the website accurate, secure and accessible. However, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We may temporarily restrict access for:

  • Maintenance
  • Security updates
  • Technical problems

  • Events outside our control

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, XIOLINE will not be responsible for indirect or unexpected losses resulting from:

  • Misuse of a product

XIOLINE may update these Terms and Conditions when our services, website, store procedures or legal obligations change.

The version available when an order is placed will generally apply to that purchase.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.

The parties should first attempt to resolve disputes through direct communication. Where a dispute cannot be resolved, either party may use available legal or consumer-dispute procedures in Sri Lanka.

The Consumer Affairs Authority is responsible for enforcing provisions of the Consumer Affairs Authority Act and provides a consumer-complaint channel.
